Established in 1988, this group of women meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September to June. Interesting programs have included speakers, tours of community facilities and special dinners. The fundraising that is done through catering to small functions in the church and monthly offerings is used to support projects in the church and community. This group is open to any women in the church.
The first Sunday of the month from September through May, brunch is cooked and served in the auditorium following worship service. Between 100 - 150 people usually stay. This “experiment” started 10 years ago as a fellowship booster, but has also made a significant financial contribution over the years to the life of Knox.
Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM, a group of women gathers in the food court at the Shoppers Mall for coffee and conversation. We welcome all women to join us on any Wednesday. We are sitting in the food court by A&W. We'd love to have new faces and new stories shared with us so please join us if you can. Java Jabbers have been meeting for over 25 years, it has been a great way to get to know each other.
For the last 15+ years, two large rummage/garage sales have been held each year. Many volunteers participate in collecting, setting up, pricing, packing and selling items. This is a fun social occasion as well as a great fundraiser in support of church projects.
